Detroit Opera House

Traffic
Expect busier-than-usual conditions on the freeways and surface streets near the Opera House before and after the ceremony. You are encouraged to arrive early to reduce traffic congestion. Before you leave for the White Coat Ceremony, visit michigan.gov/mdot to check for closures and detours or, WWJ-AM 950 for current traffic information.

Parking
General parking for White Coat Ceremony will be available in the Opera House Parking Center is located at 1426 Broadway Street with entrances on John R. and E. Grand River. Parking is payable via credit cards only – no cash. There are also several surface lots in the immediate area.
Accessible Parking
Handicapped parking is also available in the structure. These parking spots are available on a first come first serve basis.
