Important information about tickets
All graduates participating in Commencement are required to have a ticket, which allows them admission to the theatre. Graduates will be seated in alphabetical order on the main floor center section of the theatre and will be lined up in the balcony of the theatre for the processional. Graduate tickets will be given during cap and gown distribution.
Guest tickets / Extra Tickets
Tickets are required for all guests attending Commencement. Each eligible student will receive ten (10) guest tickets, and may request additional tickets based on availability. To request additional tickets, please complete the extra ticket request form. Because of strict occupancy regulations, tickets must be presented for each guest, no matter the age, upon entry to the Fox Theatre. Please be sure all guests have their tickets on the day of the ceremony. Guests will not be admitted without a ticket. Guest seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: Strollers, car seats and infant carriers are not allowed in the theatre.
Tickets will be available during cap and gown distribution in the Scott Hall Cafeteria between 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31st and Thursday, June 1st. In the event that you need them earlier (for example, to mail them out of state), you can pick them up in the Office of Student Affairs, Suite 315 Mazurek Education Commons between 9:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. anytime after May 15th. If you cannot personally pick-up your tickets, someone else can pick them up for you. That person will just have to sign for them.
